Middle College High School 2005-2006 Projects

Students in Mr. Cobane's and Mr. Moitoza's English classes developed digital stories that centered on the concept of "neighborhood." Working independently or in small groups, the Middle College High School students first composed essays, using the writing process to consider the meaning of the term and the significance of their own neighborhoods in their lives. Then they adapted their essays into scripts, which they read aloud and recorded to serve as voiceover narration. Finally, they created storyboards and combined their narratives with images, music, transition effects, and titles to create finished digital stories.
