| Mr. Watson's sixth-grade Social Studies class focused on religion in Ancient India. The project served not only as a form of assessment, but also as a vehicle to promote student engagement. The "Religion in Ancient India" project gave students an opportunity to apply their knowledge of Hinduism and Brahmanism using multimedia tools.
Through collaborative group work, students researched topics, wrote scripts, and collected corresponding images. Students further enhanced theit subject matter understanding as well as developed technological skills that included internet navigation, file management, and audio and video editing.
