Periods 5 and 6 Social Studies/Language Arts

Ms. Sevilla's seventh-grade Social Studies class researched and wrote scripts focused on various social, cultural, and technological changes in Europe, Africa, and Asia from 500-1789 A.D. They studied the great civilizations developing concurrently throughout the world during medieval and early modern times, and the continuing influence of these civilizations on the ideas, beliefs, technologies, commodities, philosophies and the dogma of belief in the world today.

From their research thy wrote and edited scripts, rehearsed oral presentation, searched for images and gathered materials from the internet, and created their own computer graphics to illustrate their movies.

Then utilizing video editing software, assembled their digital stories, created title pages, and worked with transitions, special effects and music.
