Teacher: Mr. Guenther
Grade 6

Mr. Guenther's sixth-grade class took the study of Ancient Egypt as a catalyst for the creation of short films, or "digital stories," using video-editing software. This single project engaged students in practicing reading, writing, research, speaking, cooperation, critical thinking, art, and technology skills. The hands-on experience of learning and creating together in small groups resulted in mini-documentaries on topics ranging from Ancient Egyptian art and architecture to the “curse” of King Tut. Enjoy the movies!
