In my combination class of 5th and 6th graders, my overall goal was for each
student, working in a team, to successfully create a digital movie based on
their study of the Solar System for the 5th graders and Egypt for the 6th
graders. I expected each team to be able to write an organized expository essay highlighting key points of study supported by relevant details. In addition they were expected to be able to use the Internet to select appropriate graphics and save them in an organized manner. In order to match the graphics with the key points, each team needed to be able to recognize nouns. Students also needed to be able to listen carefully and follow directions in order to use the program. To view the digital stories, click the images below. |
