Teacher: Mr. Geever Grade 5
	Fifth graders at C.L. Smith Elementary School studied the colonization of North America with a focus on the original thirteen English colonies. Teams of students worked together to research, draft, edit, and publish an informative piece of writing about a specific colony. Then, using Adobe Premiere Pro software, each team recorded a narrative based on their report, incorporated images, and added titles and special effects to create a digital film. The final artifact represents a new way for students to share what they learn, utilizing technology. To view the digital films, click an image below.
