Teacher: Ms. Ngyuen
Grade 4

After Hurricane Katrina, the Pearson Disaster Relief Fund provided Mobile Classroom support to schools that were engaging displaced students from across the Gulf Coast. One of these schools was Jessup Elementary in Pasadena, Texas.

In addition, Pearson and Nokia are providing Mobile Learning Institute Classroom Residencies to Jessup Elementary and to other schools across the Pasadena School District. These Residencies give students the opportunity to share what they've learned using the latest computer and mobile phone technologies. At Jessup, students in four different 4th-grade classes scripted and created their own films.

In Ms. Ngyuen's class, students worked together to create films about Native American culture.
