| The fourth-graders in Ms. Cox's class studied European explorers of the Western Hemisphere. Working in teams, students researched explorers from the fifteenth century to the eighteenth century and used their findings to write narratives that became the basis for digital documentaries. By recording their scripts and adding images, music, titles, and effects, the students created comprehensive portraits of individuals who had a significant impact on history.
