| Ms. Ashcroft's fourth-graders produced digital stories on subjects of their
own choosing. Working in teams, the students researched their topics and
wrote scripts that sometimes included flights of imagination or expressions
of opinion inspired by the facts they uncovered. To complete their
presentations, the students recorded their narratives and used software to
