| Mr. Sheridan took students on a trip to Utah, where they challenged themselves both as individuals and as a team in spectacular terrain. Upon their return to school, the students worked in groups to capture the experience in digital stories. First, they wrote and recorded verse that sometimes describes their travels in concrete detail and at other times uses the experience as a metaphor for their journey to adulthood. Then, by combining the voiceovers with photographic images, titles, and effects, the students created stories that are as vivid as Utahâs landscape.
