During the 2005-2006 school year, more than 2,000 Irving middle-school students participated in exciting Mobile Learning Institute programs that delivered technology-focused residencies to their classrooms. These educational programs gave students the opportunity to script, compose, and assemble digital films that extended understanding of classroom objectives in a variety of subjects. Just as important, the programs made it possible for young people to work together to develop life skills, share interests, and present their ideas.
