Teacher: Ms. Weinstein
Grade 8

The students' objective was to write a story using an art movement as the background and setting. They had to collaborate with two or three other students to gather information, apply research skills and demonstrate an ability to work with technology. The groups created a movie using a narrative they composed.

The eighth graders of the fourth period discovered innovative ways to tackle artistic expression that is often difficult to understand. Some students explored the psychological and symbolic elements that are found in the works.

Students are graded on the quality, creativity and accuracy of the information they provide through their digital storytelling.
