| The students' objective was to write a story using an art movement as the background and setting. They had to collaborate with two or three other students to gather information, apply research skills and demonstrate an ability to work with technology. The groups created a movie using a narrative they composed. Sixth graders in the first period chose a variety of historical art periods to serve as the setting for inventive interpretations of art styles and movements. Students are graded on the quality, creativity and accuracy of the information they provide through their digital storytelling. To view the digital stories, click the images below. |
