Seventh-graders in Ms. Lopez's class collaborated to transform a story from a book into a digital story. After reading Louis Sachar's novel Holes, the students wrote their own version of the exciting tale and recorded it to use as the audio narrative for their digital presentation. Then they created original art to illustrate key scenes and used software to combine the voiceover narration, their artwork, title screens, and special effects for a polished digital story.
