During the 2005-2006 school year, Dallas Independent School District students took part in Mobile Learning Institute programs that allowed them to work together to develop their language arts skills in direct response to standards-based objectives. In the process of completing films presenting their ideas on a number of personal and academic subjects, they developed their communication, critical thinking, and organization skills and strengthened their teamwork and technology abilities.
