| Ms. Kiwiet's students used the digital storytelling process to create imaginative "postcards from outer space." The Jonsson Community School students made colorful artwork depicting "aliens." They wrote postcards describing their "encounters" with the fanciful creatures and took photographs of themselves posed in accordance with their narratives. Finally, they recorded the text of their postcards and used software to combine that voice track with their photographs and original art – plus music, effects, and titles – to create finished digital stories.
